The presentation aims to discuss the process of developing a project management information system with an agile approach during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Companies have been affected with the remote setting enforced by the lockdowns and social distancing regulations. With this, the researchers will be discussing how they developed a system to solve the issues in the business process of the company while applying the context and limitations of the pandemic.

Company A is experiencing challenges in managing and tracking their furniture, appliances, and IT resources. The company currently uses MS Excel as their asset management; however, it became inefficient enough to be used in their business operations anymore since the company is growing and gaining more clients. As solution, the researchers developed the Resource Allocation Management System [RAMS] using an Agile Methodology Approach. The system keeps track of the whole asset’s life cycle (item’s specifications, procurement, current user and location, and usage history) where every asset record is protected.

Due to the pandemic, company xyz had to resort to an online based recruitment. Applicants send in their credentials to the HR department of the company, and it could get cluttered as many emails flood the email. Because of the nature of emails, there is a possibility for the applicants to be overlooked. The emails can be missed and potentially be sent to the spam folder. The solution is to create an online recruitment portal wherein the applicants and the HR department can interact with each other, without the need of going through the emails individually. The system can track and manage all the applicants.
