An Agile Methodology Approach to a Record Management and Monitoring System for Company B

Ula Dorothea Andaya, Jihyun Baek, Maria Rosario Cruz, Giuseppe Ng

Company B has been facing issues of accuracy, credibility, and efficiency in their monitoring and recording of data. There have been many instances reported that the data/information did not match what was reported due to human error or intentional modification, officers poorly investing and allocating their funds, and some pocketing them due to the lack of transparency protecting the funds. To address these problems, the researchers sought the solution of streamlining and standardizing their business processes through digitalization using an agile methodology.

An Agile Methodology Approach to the Automation of the Production Tracking of Company ABC

Miguel Antonio Li, Miguel Lorenzo Sarmiento, Jino Gabriel Piedad, Giuseppe Ng

The Company is a local food distributor that faces several challenges in tracking its production process. This is due to collection of manual production forms, inaccurate handwritten notes and the use of different technology platforms by different departments. To address these identified issues, the researchers created a bespoke production tracking system that streamlines the data gathering and communication between departments and unifies the various silos of data in the various departments using an agile methodology.

An Agile Methodology Approach to the Development of an Inventory Management and Monitoring System for Company A

Francine Marguerite Calivozo, Deo Jr. Nofuente, Juan Alejandro Yguico, Joel Mendoza

Company A is experiencing difficulties in managing their inventory and purchases. The mode of keeping track of their inventory and purchases are through MS Excel and communicating directly through apps such as Viber and Messenger. They are facing problems from their current business process such as: (1) lack of data reliability, (2) lack of accessibility, and (3) lack of visibility. The researchers opt to utilize the usage of an agile methodology to develop an Inventory Management and Monitoring System for the company which will provide an accessible avenue for the company to efficiently monitor their materials and supplies.

An Agile Methodology Approach to the Sales and Inventory System for Company A

Mack Andrew Rosario, Andrea Colleen Perez, Marcus Euwan Trinidad, Giuseppe Ng

The goal of the study is to develop a Sales and Inventory System for Company A to manage the sales and stock inventory data of their shoe products in a web-based system. The system provides a visual representation of the stock availability that is within the physical store and it will store sales data to aid in future business decisions. This system was designed to collect, store, and manage sales and inventory data to provide reports and key takeaways for the businesses’ evaluation. In this study, the researchers used agile methodology as their approach for their research design to allow and increase flexibility in the system and in order to reduce potential risks at hand.

An Agile Approach to a Human Resources Information System for Company B

Marcus Neo Encarnacion, Franco Neo Recasata, Jaime Miguel Tañedo, Giuseppe Ng

Company B is a manufacturing company that has been facing challenges with its manual HR processes, resulting in (1) time (2) inefficiency, (3) human errors, and (4) security issues. To address these challenges, the researchers developed a Human Resources Information System to streamline its HR processes, reduce time inefficiencies, eliminate the risk of human error, and increase security. This web-based system with a biometric attendance tracking system was developed using an agile methodology, which proved to be effective in tailoring the solution for the unique problems and issues of the company in a remote setting.
